Curriculum Overview

This curriculum is designed to provide a focused and progressive education in Artificial Intelligence, structured across four academic years to ensure students develop a robust skill set and are well-prepared for real-world applications.

Years 1 and 2: Building the Foundation

The initial years of the program are dedicated to establishing a strong foundation in the core principles of computer science and artificial intelligence. Students will engage with fundamental subjects such as Engineering Mathematics, Probability & Statistics, Python Language, Computer Programming, Data Structure and Algorithm, and Object-oriented programming. These courses provide the essential mathematical, statistical, and programming skills necessary for advanced AI studies. Additionally, students will take general education courses, including Thai and English for Communication, World History, and Ethics, to develop well-rounded perspectives.

Year 3: Specialization and In-Depth Study

In the third year, students transition into specialized learning within their chosen concentration: Artificial Intelligence, AI for Cybersecurity, AI for Robotics, or AI for Business. This year involves in-depth coursework relevant to each specialization, such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing for the AI concentration, and courses like Computer Security and Programming, Networking Security, and Vulnerability Analysis for the Cybersecurity concentration.  Students also take Ethics in International Affairs to foster ethical decision-making within a global context.

Year 4: Capstone Projects and Real-World Experience

The culmination of the program in the fourth year is centered on practical application and professional development. Students undertake Capstone Projects, allowing them to apply their acquired knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems. Furthermore, the curriculum offers Cooperative Education opportunities, including domestic and overseas placements, providing students with valuable experience in a professional setting. This focus on real-world experience ensures that graduates are well-prepared to enter the workforce and contribute effectively from day one.
