1. What makes HAIT unique, and what is its mission?

HAIT is established on the Hebron Asia Foundation's objective to cultivate "glocal citizens" through advanced academic and professional education. Our philosophy is an institute focused on artificial intelligence (AI) based on a progressive philosophy. Our vision is to be a leading institute in Asia for artificial intelligence and holistic education, aiming to foster well-rounded glocal citizens.

Our mission includes:

We administer education with the guiding motto: "AI is future, learning is power." HAIT also emphasizes a complete English-speaking environment, encompassing all aspects of campus life and academic instruction.

 

2. What academic programs are you offering, and how will they be recognized?

HAIT offers Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Programs with specializations in:

  • Artificial Intelligence
     
  • Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity
     
  • Artificial Intelligence for Robotics
     
  • Artificial Intelligence for Business
      

The curriculum structure includes foundation courses in Years 1-2, specialized courses in Year 3, and a Capstone Project or Internship in Year 4. HAIT aims to reduce student burdens related to cost, support, safety, and facilities, and to reduce inequality through lifelong access, scholarships, and AI-assisted learning. The institution seeks to enhance entrepreneurial and financial skills and increase opportunities by producing manpower for the country's needs.

 

3. Who will be teaching me at HAIT?

HAIT plans to hire various instructors for on-site and online teaching. The institution also utilizes block courses to bring in experts, including those from overseas. Faculty selection involves announcing recruitment, selecting, and screening applicants based on specific abilities. HAIT establishes MOUs with domestic and international educational institutions and organizations to support faculty recruitment.

Faculty members are required to have strong academic credentials, research experience, teaching experience, and industry experience, along with fluency in English.

 

4. What are the tuition fees, and what financial aid is available?

The tuition fee for all programs at HAIT is 60,000 Baht per semester, totaling 120,000 Baht annually (for two semesters). The total four-year investment is 480,000 Baht. Students have the option to pay their semester tuition fees in installments throughout the semester.

Financial aid options include:

  • Student Loan Fund - Thai Government: Available for Thai students, allowing semester tuition fees to be paid in installments.
  • HAIT Scholarship Fund: Awards many scholarships per year.
  • Sponsorship Scholarship: Funded by the HAIT Sponsor Association from Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the USA.

     

5. What kind of support will I receive as a student?

HAIT offers various student support services:

The HAIT campus is located in Pa O Don Chai Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. The institution layout includes:

HAIT's vision is to be a leading institute in Asia for artificial intelligence and holistic education. The mission includes developing research and innovation in artificial intelligence and related technologies. HAIT recognizes that AI is an essential 21st-century skill needed across all industries to drive progress and maintain competitiveness. Developing AI creators is essential for boosting innovation, competing economically, creating custom AI for specific needs, and ensuring technological independence. The curriculum should be reviewed and updated at least annually to reflect the latest advancements, industry trends, and research breakthroughs in the fast-paced field of AI. Program reviews should be conducted every 3-5 years to assess overall effectiveness and make more significant changes. Input from industry partners, faculty expertise, and student feedback will inform the update process. HAIT will benchmark its performance against leading AI institutions in Asia, industry standards, and top global universities with strong AI programs
